The birthday was great, possibly one of the most memorable and enjoyable birthdays I ever had in Ateneo. And because so many people played a part in making me happy yesterday, I’m gonna take my time and give out my heartfelt gratitude to everyone I can remember (in chronology haha). :p

To EVERYONE who greeted me personally, thru the phone, thru text, thru friendster and/or through facebook, thank you so much. Your simple happy birthdays were very thoughtful. They all made me smile (snicker at times, but yeah… haha) and feel really special!

To Therese (together with E313 – Myka, Gella, Aeli and Kat), for the surprise at around 10:30pm-ish the night before (you never fail to make EARLY birthday surprises hehe). It was really unexpected and touching, considering I barely see you these days. Thanks for the cake, the ice drops, and hiring a trike! ;p

To E313, Myka, Gella, Aeli and Kat, my pseudo-roommates, for the chocolates, for the jellyace, for the months-old marshmallow (hahaha), and for suprising me early with Therese. :p I love being 313’s Corner E. Hugs!

To 312’s BSA – Tashie, Ange and Kei, for being the first people to personally greet me when the clock struck 12! (Match that with all of them dogpiling on me as I was laptopping on my bed, and Ange screaming: “Happy birthday, motherfucker!!!”) You guys are simply the best. Can’t imagine myself rooming with anybody else. :D

To Gella, my soulsis, for that “something faboulous.” Rest assured, I know you’re always backing me up, and I love you so much for that. ;)

To Myka, my hipsis, for EVERYTHING. You really are my bestest friend in Ateneo. (Awwwww!!!) Thanks for being my first driver of the day, for the rose (yes, I should be a girl on my 20^th birthday), for the whole Snickers cheesecake from Banapple (YUMMM!), for coordinating the Theo group surprise thingy, and for everything that I might be forgetting to mention. :p Can’t think of any other person that is so similar to me, yet still somehow different. I LOVE YOU. You know that ;)

To my Theo151 groupmates who were present yesterday – Myka, Rai, BJ and Nikka, yesterday was one of the very few Theo periods which I enjoyed (considering the food)! Thank you so much for the surprise (which I kinda had a feeling about, just a couple of minutes before Myka and BJ actually walked in with the cake haha). J

To April, for “hugging me like mad” as promised, and giving me the oh-so-colorful balloons! We still love each other! Wink wink*

To BJ, my cram-time partner-in-crime, for letting me drive Keira, his black 318i (as promised, like a year ago haha). :D You’re one of the few guys who’d actually trust me to drive their autos without hesitation. Cheers to more of utilitarianism, corny jokes and green moments! Nyahahaha! ;)

To Tashie and Wyson (my MA Buddy and my Bro, respectively), for the fluffy and sexy white pig in red bikinis. Haha. I still don’t know what to name it, but bottom line is, I love it. :D Hug!

To Kath, my Bene buddy, for being there last night! You’re presence really mattered. When I told you I wanted you there coz you’re one of my closest friends in AdMU, I meant it. Love you!

To Vallartz (my minion,  joke!) and Kath, for the evil pink pig. I love it. It is now part of my growing stuffed pig farm. You guys are the best, there’s never a dull moment with you around! :D

To Wyson, my Bro, for driving around with me for around 4 hours looking for the damn pins (on Jan 23), for treating us to DQ after dinner, for being my last driver of the night, and for the corny sing-alongs. :p You really are the older brother I never had. You never fail to make me happy and laugh like hell, but please try to be nice the next time I go emo-mode. Hahahaha! Love you to bits! (In a purely platonic way, don’t get ideas. You’re not that in demand, you know. :p haha).

There’s officially 20 days before Christmas, everybody!

Since some friends and family members have been asking me what I wanted for Christmas, I’m gonna spare everyone the complexity of finding the perfect gift for a crazy little girl like me. Contrary to popular belief, I’m not that hard to please, you know! :p

Therefore, I now present to you…

ANNE’S CHRISTMAS WISHLIST 2007

1.       A pretty and decent 2008 planner

2.       Red or maroon faux leather schoolbag

3.       A pencilcase that isn't too bulky or too big

4.       iPork (a new skin for my 2^nd Gen iPod Nano, available at Powerbooks and Fully Booked branches)

5.       A|X shirts (size: small)

6.       THAT shirt in Artwork, in red please. (c/o Anya, right? Hehehe.)

8.       For those who get their gas in Shell:  The Ferrari model collection. (except for the F50, coz someone already gave it to me.) ;)

OMG! i can't wait for the 5th season of nip/tuck!!!! :D it airs tomorrow (oct 30) at 10 pm in the US.

apparently since macnamara/troy has moved to hollywood, a lot of surprises are on the way. from the season trailer, some of this season's guests are: tia carrere, jennifer coolidge and serena scott thomas.

and, can i just say: good god, CHRISTIAN TROY GETS HOTTER AND HOTTER EVERY SEASON. (julian mcmahon, i love you.)

crap!!! i'm so excited. :D for now, i guess im gonna rely on youtube for the first few episodes. hehehe. i hope some nip/tuck fan out there actually uploads! :D

For me, HELL SEM officially ended last Sunday at around 4:30 pm. I couldn’t have been any happier. I’m telling you, this has been the WORST, MOST HECTIC semester (academics/requirements-wise) in my whole Ateneo life.

Whoever said Junior Year is the hardest and Senior Year is just “chill” HAS A DEATH WISH. (I’m sure a lot of my batchmates would agree with me on this one. Hehehe.)  

I barely had any decent sleep last week and most of my requirements were crammed (predictably).  I broke down twice (yes, Anne does know how to cry) and kept on blaming my BAD cramming habits for all my hardships. Haha! Last Wednesday was the worst though. Alma paper (30%) doubled with Mendy final exam  (that I honest to goodness knew NOTHING about, thanks to wi-fi , games and food that kept me busy during class time). Wednesday was no doubt “CRAM TIME CRUNCH TIME” day. (I really lived it up to the damn shirt that I wore the whole day, loud and proud! :p lol) I thought then that if I got through the day alive, I’d be fine. Until I realized that I wouldn’t be able to pass  my POS 200 Research Proposal on the Saturday deadline, so I had to extend my hell week till Monday (or whenever I finished the damn thing--thank God I had already finished it on Sunday). And to think that by around Saturday, Eliazo was emptying out so I was getting really restless and irritated with the fact that I was one of those who were still there! Rarrr! Anyway…

GLAD IT IS FINALLY OVER.

Grades? Let’s not worry about them for now. I’m just crossing my fingers that they’re all pretty decent. HOPEFULLY. Right now, I need to relax!!! Hehehe. I know I deserve it. :D

Funny how you get close to some people long after you've met and physically hung out. It's kinda weird but it feels great in a weird twisted manner... Just like that text I got last night. Hihihihi :D

Look who's having withdrawal symptoms. That's the "Anne-effect on people" for you ;) YOU just can't fight it... oh yeah! :p whehehe!!! :p

My old sim card took a tragic turn. Boo! It died last Thursday, never to see the light of day (or the Globe network for that matter) EVER AGAIN. But then again sometimes moving on is better than dwelling in the past.

Which I did. I'm not just trying to convince myself anymore. I KNOW i've moved on. :D I've tried and tested it.

I must get tickets to the Ateneo-La Salle game this Thursday. I'm not jinx anymore! I watched the last 2 quarters of the AdMU-UST game yesterday and WE WON!!! Woohoo!!! :D
